Pretty Little Thing (Online Sale)

A quick post to share some photographs of the clothes that I bought from Pretty Little Thing ("PLT") during their January sale. All of the below clothes are still available to buy online (though most of them are back to their regular price at this stage). PLT frequently have flash sales so keep an eye on their website for sales and discount codes. They currently have an online sale whereby you can get 30% off with the discount code HURRY30

I purchased a few other pieces during their sales too, however, I ended up returning them. Recently I've become much stricter in regards to what I buy. I only purchase new clothes if I am 100% in love with them and I know that they will be worn a lot. If they don't fit perfectly or, the quality isn't what I expected then there is no point having them sitting in my wardrobe never to be used. The most obvious reason for this is to be more environmentally conscious. Also, I live in a tiny apartment so I just don't have the space to buy loads of clothes anymore!!

Petite Black Satin Asymmetric Skirt

I bought this skirt to wear with a bikini while on a sun holiday. Its slit goes up very high so I'm not sure how comfortable I would be wearing it out for drinks etc. The skirt is very well priced for satin material. The rose gold watch that I am wearing in the second picture (of the above gallery) is from Capitola with whom I am a Brand Ambassador for. This skirt was €13 in the January sales and I was able to avail of a 20% discount code on the day that I purchased it. I was thus able to purchase the skirt for only €10.40! It is still marked down 50% so you can currently buy it for €14. I am wearing a size 6. Click here to find it online.

Red Organza Puff Sleeve High Neck Bodycon Dress

Puff sleeves are still big right now and I love the way that this dress incorporates them. The sleeves and shoulders of the dress are not too over the top or, too puffy. Also, I love how the material is mixed with mesh along part of the sleeve area; this adds a bit extra to the dress rather than it just being a plain bodycon dress. One thing to consider, as with any bodycon material, is how it clings to every lump and bump of your body! Though I know that I am not fat, I would still be self-conscious wearing this after eating a big meal or, if I was having a 'fat' day 😅 One suggestion would be to pair it with Spanx or, some type of shapewear. Saying that, the benefit is the stretchy material is very comfortable and easy to wear.

The dress was €23 in the January sales and I was able to avail of a 20% discount code on the day that I purchased it. I was thus able to purchase the dress for only €18.40! There are several colors available in this dress and it is currently on sale for €28. I am wearing the size 'S' (small). Click here to find it online.

Black Bardot Frill Hem Midi Dress

I previously bought this style of dress (from PLT too) in a longer red version. I wore it to a Ball at the time and I found it so comfortable that I have wanted the shorter version ever since too. I prefer the red, however, as I have the longer red version I decided to go with the classic black this time. I had been checking it out online for about two years and, seeing as it was on sale in January, I finally took the plunge and bought it! The advantage of this dress is that it is a timeless black dress and so I don't see it going out of fashion anytime soon. Similar to the Red Organza Puff Sleeve High Neck Bodycon Dress, this material is stretchy and if you are self-conscious then you may not like how much it clings to your body or, you may want to pair it with Spanx/shapewear.

The dress was €22 in the January sales and I was able to avail of a 20% discount code on the day that I purchased it. I was thus able to purchase the dress for only €17.60! There are several colors available in the dress and it is currently on sale for €28. I am wearing a size 6. Click here to find it online.

Tall Black Basic Long Sleeve Top

Though very boring, a plain black top is something that I always struggle to find! It is an item that I frequently wear to both work and for casual wear too (great with jeans!). This top is labeled as a 'tall' top, however, I am not tall and I still loved the length. It sits nicely over the top of a jeans and it is made of very thin material so you could easily tuck it inside of your trousers/jeans if you so wished.

The top was €10 in the January sales and I was able to avail of a 20% discount code on the day that I purchased it. I was thus able to purchase the top for only €8! There are several colors available in this top and it's currently on sale for €12. I am wearing a size 6. Click here to find it online.

Rheta Red Ribbed Polo Neck Top

Not always considered very fashionable but I do love a good comfortable polo neck! 😅 I only ever seem to buy them in black though so it was time to mix it up and buy my second favorite color...red. It's nice to add a pop of color during the cold winter months and this is again an item that I would wear both to work and for casual wear. As it is a plain jumper, it won't go out of style anytime soon so I'll be able to wear it over the 2020 Christmas period too. However, one issue with the jumper is that it is slightly see-through and so you will likely need to wear a small vest underneath it.

The polo neck was €12 in the January sales and I was able to avail of a 20% discount code on the day that I purchased it. I was thus able to purchase the jumper for only €9.60! There are several colors available in the jumper and it's currently on sale for €15. I am wearing a size 6 (though I find this a bit tight and an 8 would have suited better). Click here to find it online.
